For women poets over 60
Rules of Entry
The competition is for women over 60 who have not had a previous collection or pamphlet published. Individual poems may have been published in anthologies and magazines or online. Those who will reach 60 before the end of November 2015 are eligible.
All entries should be typed and on A4 paper, and accompanied by an official entry form.
Manuscripts cannot be returned, so please keep a copy. If you wish an acknowledgement, please enclose sae marked ‘receipt’ with your entry.
Collection title only on entry form, together with contact details. Entries will be judged anonymously, so no personal details on ms please.
No email submission. Manuscripts of 15-20 poems will be accepted by post only, and should be sent to: Hen Run Competition 2015, Grey Hen Press, PO Box 450, Keighley, West Yorkshire, BD22 9WS.

The winner will have a chapbook published in the Hen Run series and receive 50 copies of the book. Shortlisted poets will receive a copy of Cracking On: poems by women over 60, plus another Grey Hen anthology of their choice.
Results (winner and shortlist) will be posted on the website in January 2016. Send sae marked ‘results’ with entries if you wish to be notified by post.
Entry fee £12. Cheques payable to Grey Hen Press.
